About the Position: The Deputy Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of W&M is a Program Manager position, within the Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures Office. The Deputy is responsible for the successful management and oversight of a wide range of programs related to agricultural and/or weights and measures enforcement. This includes leading teams in the areas of pesticide regulation, pest prevention, plant protection, and commodity regulation, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and county laws. The Deputy will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including growers, businesses, and the public.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Deputy position will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong foundation in agricultural and/or weights and measures principles.
