Under general direction of the County Sealer, the Supervising Weights & Measures Inspector performs inspections and supervises weights and measures field inspection personnel.  Investigates suspected violations of weights and measures laws and regulations; and performs related work as required.

The successful candidate, for the Supervising Weights & Measures Inspector, shall possess all three Weights & Measures Licenses and a minimum of five (5) years working as a Weights & Measures Inspector.  This candidate must have advanced knowledge and understanding of the inspection, testing and enforcement activities used in the field of Weights & Measures to comply with the State of California and local weights and measures laws, regulations and ordinances; and the skills to perform specialized Weights & Measures assignments.
