Description
An Agricultural Inspector/Biologist position is currently available within the Agricultural Commissioner's Office. Depending upon the specific assignment, this position performs a variety of agricultural inspections and enforces provisions of codes, regulations, and ordinances under the jurisdiction of the County Agricultural Commissioner. The Eligible List established by this recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies on a regular full-time, part-time, or temporary basis.
This is a flexibly staffed series. Appointment may be made at either the I or II level based on qualifications. Incumbents appointed may be promoted up to the Agricultural Inspector/Biologist III without further competition subject to meeting the employment standards and licensing requirements and in accordance with the Flexible Staffing Programs and Guidelines.
