Assistant Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:
Four (4) years of technical experience in Agricultural or Weights and Measures inspection and enforcement work, at least two (2) years of which shall have included management, supervisory or program responsibility experience. (Additional private sector or public service experience which includes managing staff, budget control, and public relations may be substituted for the two (2) years of management, supervisory, or program responsibility requirement, on a year-for-year basis.)

Education:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college in agricultural, biological, chemical, or physical sciences, or other appropriate disciplines as determined by the Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
