The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office is seeking an experienced  and dedicated professional who desires a career serving as a Deputy Agricultural Commissioner in one of the most agriculturally rich counties in California.

Approximate Annual Base Salary:
$80,684—$98,072

Minimum Qualifications
EITHER PATTERN I
Education: Graduation from an accredited
four-year college or university with a major in
agriculture or a biological science.
Experience: Five years in certificated
agricultural inspection and enforcement
work.
OR PATTERN II
Experience: Two (2) years as a Senior
Agricultural Inspector or Agricultural
Biologist/Standards Inspector III with San
Joaquin County.
AND
License: Possession of valid California driver's
license.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid
registered license as a Deputy County
Agricultural Commissioner issued by the
California Department of Food and
Agriculture.
